These two images show how I decided to take photos of Callum from a high angle. I chose to do this because it would mean that my main image on the cover page would hold a direct mode of address and furthermore, it creates the effect where the reader will be looking down on Callum, with a spotlight shining on him. This therefore reinforces how the cover line will be something to do with putting the spotlight on Chris Brown.
The following images of Callum were also taken while considering the grid rule, in terms of positioning. For example, instead of having the person in the main image being directly straight infront of the camera, I chose to take the photographs at a high angle, low angle and at a slight side angle,
This photo was taken by my teacher to show how I was participating in the photo shoot day and taking appropriate images which will be suitable for my magazine cover and contents page. This was taken as evidence to show how I carefully planned and discussed the images I was going to take for my cover. This image was also useful as I could use it on the contents page as part of my editorial note to the reader.
Another effective image I took was by using a toilet roll to create the circular/shadow effect. This is useful for my magazine as it highlights how there are competitions in the issue which gives the audience the chance to win free headphones.
I especially like this image because the natural lighting is effective as it makes the top stand out. This would be useful for my magazine as I could include a pug which informs people that there will be a chance to enter a competition and win an item of clothing.
